This experimental platform is a special equipment for practical teaching of mechanism design courses. It is used for the cognition, design, assembly and motion demonstration of common mechanisms, so that students can intuitively understand the mechanism and motion characteristics. The platform contains demonstration boards and various refined parts and metal shafts, connectors, etc., which can be used to assemble various planar mechanisms and demonstrate the relative motion of components in the mechanism. This platform can be used as a classroom teaching demonstration teaching aid, and can also be used in open laboratories for students to conduct hands-on assembly experiments. It is an ideal teaching experimental equipment for learning planar mechanisms.
This platform corresponds to the textbook “Principles of Mechanics”, which mainly studies the basic knowledge of mechanism and machine dynamics, with mechanism as the main focus. Study the structural analysis, motion analysis and design methods of common mechanisms. Students analyze the composition and motion characteristics of the mechanism during the design and assembly process of the mechanism, laying the foundation for further in-depth study of mechanical design.
This experimental platform provides component models and tools, and students assemble various planar mechanisms by hand, demonstrate the relative motion of the installed mechanisms, and compare and analyze them. Thereby establishing a perceptual understanding of the installed mechanisms.

2. Main structure and function

I) Cognition and design, overlap and measurement of rod mechanism
1. Cognition and assembly of four-bar mechanism-crank rocker, double rocker mechanism, hyperbolic mechanism, crank slider mechanism, double crank mechanism; mechanism movement demonstration;
2. Cognition, design and assembly of the shaper mechanism (six-bar mechanism).
II) Cognition and design, overlap and measurement of mechanical transmission
1. Cognition and assembly of cylindrical spur gears, cylindrical helical gears, and bevel gears
2. Cognition, design and assembly of planetary gear trains;
3. Cognition, assembly and tension adjustment of belt transmission;
4. Cognition, assembly and tension adjustment of chain transmission.
III) Understanding and Measuring Common Transmission and Connector Components
1. Understanding Common Rolling Bearings and Their Applications;
2. Understanding and Applying Sliding Bearings;
3. Understanding and Applying Bolted Connections.

5. ★ Built-in training platform equipment and consumables management software system. This software must be genuine with a dongle (verified during acceptance). This system allows for calibration and entry of purchased hydraulic equipment, as well as online management of equipment repair and maintenance. It features a one-click statistics function for instantly accessing hardware related to experimental projects. A project search function allows real-time retrieval based on personnel or laboratory information, making it convenient for schools and teachers to manage training equipment and maintenance online.
