Basic Configuration and Functions
The entire training device consists of an engine test bench and a training bench, connected via a dedicated aviation plug.
1. Engine Test Bench
The engine test bench houses the Santana closed-circuit, electronically controlled, multi-point fuel injection engine assembly, fuel supply system, lubrication system, intake and exhaust system, cooling system, electronic control box, and oil circuit fault detection box. It is mounted on a removable steel test bench and connected by the original wiring harness. The wiring harness routing and component layout are essentially identical to the original vehicle. 2. Training Platform
The platform’s panel is constructed of 4mm thick, high-grade aluminum-plastic composite panels that are resistant to corrosion, impact, pollution, fire, and moisture. The surface is spray-coated with a special primer. The panel features a permanent color circuit diagram, allowing trainees to visually compare the diagram with an actual electronically controlled gasoline engine, helping them understand and analyze the operating principles of the control system. The platform also features five digital indicators, indicating voltage signals from key sensors such as the power supply voltage, coolant temperature sensor, intake air temperature sensor, air flow meter, throttle potentiometer, throttle controller potentiometer, oxygen sensor, and engine speed. Dynamic indicators also indicate the richness of the fuel mixture and the operating status of the four injectors. The lower portion of the training platform is equipped with the ignition switch, diagnostic socket, instrument assembly, engine controller, and anti-theft system controller.
