I. Overview
The Jetta Classic Driving Simulator consists of a cockpit seat, a visual computer, a video screen (19-inch display) with touch function, an operating sensor, a data acquisition card, headphones and a microphone. The cockpit contains the same operating components as the real vehicle, and the “five major” operating mechanisms: steering wheel, clutch, foot brake, accelerator and handbrake. Real car transmission: reverse gear, first gear, second gear, third gear, fourth gear, fifth gear and neutral gear (automatic gear only includes forward gear, reverse gear and parking gear). Real car operating switches: left turn signal, right turn signal, emergency light, horn, ignition switch, main power switch, seat belt, car door, wiper, high beam, low beam, high and low beam alternation.
The cockpit can be used for both network training and stand-alone training. Using the main console computer, up to 30 cockpits can be connected to one training scene for training.
Trainees operate different operating components, and their sensors generate different operating signals. These operating signals are transmitted to the computer through the data acquisition card, and after realistic calculations of various training models, the three-dimensional scenes and various sounds corresponding to the operation are finally output on the screen.
2. Main functions
The cockpit is equipped with the latest WM2010 driving simulator software V1.2, which is the latest development of our company and has independent intellectual property rights.
The software uses a multi-degree-of-freedom mathematical model of the car to achieve realistic simulation of car steering, braking and acceleration; in addition, it uses the latest computer technology to achieve real three-dimensional scenes and realistic sound simulation.
The training is carried out according to three difficulty levels: primary driving, intermediate driving and advanced driving.
